About the shop
Over a decade of wonder, warmth, and genuinely great sweets — all right here in Worthing.

WORTHING
For over a decade
"A genuine one-off who's turned a toy and sweet shop into somewhere people actually want to spend time."
Bows has been part of Worthing for over a decade, run by Brian — a genuine one-off who's turned a toy and sweet shop into somewhere people actually want to spend time.
Fluffy walls, fairy lights, and a browsing pace that nobody rushes you through. It's the kind of place you stumble into once and keep coming back to — not because you need to, but because it simply feels good to be here.
Brian has spent years curating a world inside that shop: a mix of toys that spark imagination, sweets from around the globe, and an atmosphere that somehow makes everything feel a little more magical than it did five minutes ago. That's not by accident. It's just what Bows is.
Our values
We've been a fixture on the high street since before the selfie was a thing. That kind of staying power comes from doing things right.
The space itself is part of what makes Bows special. Every corner is designed to delight — step inside and you'll see exactly what we mean.
Nobody here is timing your visit. Come in, slow down, look around properly. The world outside can wait a little while.
Whether you're six or sixty, there's something in here with your name on it. Bows is for anyone who hasn't quite let go of the magic.

Awesome! I'm from Worthing but have lived overseas for a while, and always return to the Sweet Shop to load up on weird and wonderful sweeties unavailable in the New World!

Have just popped in here for my first visit to find he has been here for over a decade!! After a quick browse, we went to the till and ended up having a great conversation with the owner! And what a lovely guy he really is!! The prices in there were extremely competitive and he has some proper wonders in there!
